Avently vs QuikRSVP for WhatsApp RSVPs
Avently guests answer inside the WhatsApp chat: they tap Yes or No, and guests who say yes answer your follow-up questions, such as dietary needs and plus-ones, in the same chat. QuikRSVP guests can decline with one tap in WhatsApp, but a yes finishes on a web RSVP form. Avently suits associations, clubs and community events outside the US that want every answer in a Google Sheet; QuikRSVP suits weddings that need a seating chart, guest lists in several languages, and lists with US guests, whom it reaches by SMS.

Where guests answer
This is the main difference between the two.
Aventlysends each guest a personal WhatsApp invitation by name, from Avently’s own WhatsApp Business number. Your number sends nothing, and guests don’t need to have saved any number. Guests tap Yes or No. Guests who say yes then answer your follow-up questions, such as dietary needs, plus-ones or a meal choice, from buttons or a list in the same chat. A reply they type also counts. There is no app, account, form or web page to fill in. How the buttons and lists work is in interactive WhatsApp invitations.
QuikRSVP’s messaging campaigns send each guest a personalised message with an RSVP button and a “Can’t make it” button. A decline is recorded in one tap without leaving the chat. A yes opens QuikRSVP’s web form, which QuikRSVP says is deliberate, because a yes needs details such as headcount, meals and allergies. A reply typed in the chat isn’t recorded as an RSVP; the guest gets one automatic reply pointing them to their link (QuikRSVP).
Both approaches work. A form holds more questions; a chat keeps the whole answer in one place guests already use. More on that choice in how to collect RSVPs over WhatsApp.

What Avently includes

Common questions
What is the difference between Avently and QuikRSVP?
Both send RSVP invitations over WhatsApp. Avently guests answer everything inside the WhatsApp chat: they tap Yes or No, and guests who say yes answer the follow-up questions in the same chat. QuikRSVP guests can decline with one tap in WhatsApp, but a yes opens a web RSVP form. QuikRSVP adds seating charts, QR check-in and translation into 70+ languages, and texts US guests by SMS. Avently writes every reply into your Google Sheet and adds member verification and team outreach for associations.
Do Avently guests RSVP on a web page?
No. Avently guests answer inside the WhatsApp chat. Each guest gets a personal invitation with Yes and No buttons, and guests who say yes answer follow-up questions, such as dietary needs, plus-ones or a meal choice, from buttons or a list in the same chat. No app, account, form or web page is needed. Guests who say yes also get a link to an event page with the venue, a map link and add-to-calendar buttons, but that page is for details, not for answering.
Does Avently send RSVP reminders?
Yes. Avently sends up to 2 reminders per guest over WhatsApp, and only to guests who haven’t replied. Guests who already answered are left alone.
Does Avently have door check-in or a seating chart?
Avently has door check-in on paid events and the Unlimited plan: volunteers open a private link on their phones and tap guests in, and each arrival lands in your guest sheet. An event sent on the free allowance can add it for $19 CAD. Avently has no seating chart; keep a table column in your sheet and the door list shows it. QuikRSVP’s Signature plan has drag-and-drop seating.
Can Avently verify members joining a WhatsApp group?
Yes, on the Avently Unlimited plan. Member verification checks each WhatsApp group join request against your member list, reminds applicants who haven’t activated yet, and tells each applicant once your member list confirms them. Your group admin still taps approve. Unlimited also includes team outreach, which shows volunteers who has already been contacted.
Which is better for US guests, Avently or QuikRSVP?
QuikRSVP. WhatsApp doesn’t deliver event invitations to US numbers, so QuikRSVP sends US guests an SMS instead, while Avently skips US numbers and shows you which ones before you pay. Avently’s member verification, team outreach and panel confirmations do reach US numbers.
How much do Avently and QuikRSVP cost?
Avently’s first 25 invitations each month are free. After that you pay per invitation: in a fresh month, $30 CAD for 50 or $49 CAD for 100, and no event costs more than $99 CAD. Avently Unlimited starts at $79 CAD a month. QuikRSVP’s pricing page lists a free plan of 3 forms a year with 25 responses each, Event Pro at $45 a form for 150 responses, and Event Pro Signature at $95 a form for up to 1,000.
Avently asks every guest by name on WhatsApp, takes their answers in the chat, and writes each one into your guest list. The first 25 invitations each month are free.
